Scott and his business partner Tony Janicki have been running machining operations together for thirty years. When they sold their factory at Calder Brook in Hebden Bridge, the plan was to downsize. The business had other ideas.

Demand kept coming. A new director, Ryan Allen, joined to take care of day-to-day operations. Scott’s wife Vicky handles the finance side. What started as a simplification became something rather larger – and they needed the right base to do it from.

Scott’s role has evolved over three decades into exactly that – holding the standards while Ryan keeps the operation moving.

The location helps more than you might expect. Orchard Business Park sits close to bus and train links into the valley, making it genuinely accessible for the team without being dependent on a car. And then there’s the four day week – Monday to Thursday, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. The team love it.
