About The Craggs Business Parks
READ ABOUT THE TEAM AND THE PLACES
The Craggs Country Business Parks comprises of four business parks and offices in the Calder Valley near Hebden Bridge.
Designed from the ground-up to provide the perfect environment for your business to grow and thrive. We have serviced offices, business units, industrial and warehousing space and storage facilities where our tenants benefit from cutting edge facilities and our local and dynamic team based onsite up at the Craggs Country Business Park.
The team at Head Office are local people who know the Calder Valley inside and out; we make sure that spaces and places work together. Flexible thinkers and genuine people, we know what it is like to run a business, small or big, our office facilities allow you to focus on your work and benefit from a growth orientated business community.
June’s commercial and financial acumen has continue to be instrumental in the success of her many enterprises.
June and Ralph also play the role of Mother and Father to Heidi and her sister Zoe, grandparents to five granddaughters, and owners of Benson.
The husband and wife Holmes team provide yet more back up to the Business Parks. Again, their expertise and experience in a range of dynamic areas means they make no small contribution to the Craggs family of businesses.
Dan’s background in technology and digital marketing has proven a powerful platform for business development. This is incredibly well complimented by his consultations on the construction and optimisation of our new premises as we shape them into modern business hubs.
It’s through Holmestec Ltd that Dan provides his services as Managing Director to Craggs businesses and these days his focus, when it comes to The Craggs Business Parks is the advanced infrastructructure. His technical team are on hand to get the most of the on-site dedicated to broadband to our initial Cragg Vale site. Investing in this digital lifeline has been the basis for expanding our offerings to include SIP phone systems and local wireless broadband under Dan’s supervision.
Balancing this out is Zoe, a key influence in shaping the distinctive feel of The Craggs’ sites. Using her creativity and interior design consultancy that operates within Holmestec, Zoe has been key to developing the look and feel of The Craggs. By enforcing a modern, yet still soft aesthetic Zoe has helped craft a series of spaces that suit our tenants down to the ground. Never underestimate the impact your environment can have on your work ethic. This is certainly no afterthought at the The Craggs.
When away from The Craggs Zoe and Dan spend their time touring the country with their two daughters, Georgina and Matilda who both successfully compete with their horses at a national level.
Combining professionalism and friendliness, with a passion for high quality, I look after many facets of the day to day running of the business parks across the valley.
With no two days being the same, the varied roles include liaising with customers of our storage units, offices and business units to ensure that individual needs are met. I also negotiate with utility companies to ensure we receive the best deals for us and our customers.
Health and safety also falls under my remit, so by ensuring that all the necessary checks are undertaken by the relevant professionals, means that our tenants are safe in their environment.
Studying for my degree in Business and Enterprise later in life required the ability to constantly prioritise and re-prioritise frequently, which holds me in good stead for my every day role... as does a good sense of humour!
This is just a snippet of my day, which is also punctuated by being able to make a good cuppa!
Formerly a trust member of a local primary school, my time outside of work will see me walking my two pooches across the moors or attending various music concerts and festivals with friends and family.
Marie keeps the team all in order with arranging and liaising with our customers on all things accounts. Always ready with a smile Marie and a good laugh alongside keeping everything running smoothly.
Marie is also Chair of Sturge Weber UK charity, who mission statement is to: inspire to promote research and share knowledge to empower individuals diagnosed with Sturge Weber Syndrome and their families and carers. Giving strength to create a supportive, inclusive and caring community whilst raising both public and professional awareness.
If you see someone smiling excitedly taking random photos or videos around our country business parks - that’ll be Fi.
Fi works on our design and marketing materials, our social media and our website, making sure everything is kept up to date and looking consistent.
Fi and her sister run a boutique design and marketing business, helping both small and large companies.
Previously Fi has been a school Governor, Director at Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre and a children’s picture book author and illustrator.
She doesn‘t have her own dog to boast about - but she does has ’holiday dog’ Jessie, a big black labradoodle that she looks after for her friend.
