Heidi Bingham

Heidi Bingham

Managing Director

Since studying business at university in Manchester, Heidi has proven instrumental in businesses of all sizes. Now the orchestrator of daily operations at The Craggs, she combines corporate level strategy with more than a little local knowledge and a fair bit of graft.

Having worked in the IT industry for the global technology companies such as Hewlett Packard and Xerox, she brought things closer to home when creating The Ark Nursery in Mytholmroyd in 2002 which she built alongside Jo and then sold in 2015. Heidi has been involved with The Craggs Country Business Parks from the very beginning taking over daily management of the company in 2014 through Cragg Vale Consultancy Ltd.

Constantly keeping up to date with the goings on in the valley, Heidi is always on hand to give guidance to tenants and collaborate with others businesses in the area.

When not on site, or striding the hills with family hounds Ralph and Ozzy or outdoor swimming and yoga.

Chris Bingham

Chris Bingham

Director

Husband to Heidi, Chris has been integral to the Craggs team since the very beginning. He manages a number of businesses on the original site as well as supporting its growth through Cragg Vale Consultancy Ltd.

As with Heidi, Chris spent time in the global IT industry at HP and Morse Group before going on to start and then sell Aspire Technology Ltd to a US IT company. This heralded the beginning of today’s family of Craggs businesses, starting with the multi-award winning Craggs Energy in 2011. Still the director of this discerning local business, he is also CEO of Craggs Environmental Ltd, Craggs Fuel Cards, Antha Ltd, Tanktopper.co.uk and Craggs Storage whilst keeping abreast of the local and national business community and getting stuck in when needed.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Chris engages in a number of alternative forms of transport, including, but not limited to skiing, sailing and motor racing in the Craggs branded Caterham.

Ralph Thornber

Ralph Thornber

Since the 1980’s Ralph has successfully transitioned the Thornber name towards property development in Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge under the banner of R. E. Thornber Ltd. In partnership with June, they are the driving force in the acquisition, design and development of new sites.

June and Ralph also play the role of Mother and Father to Heidi and her sister Zoe, grandparents to five granddaughters.

As son of Cyril Thornber, Ralph continues to carry out the family’s commitment to developing the local community.

June’s commercial and financial acumen has continue to be instrumental in the success of her many enterprises.

June and Ralph also play the role of Mother and Father to Heidi and her sister Zoe, grandparents to five granddaughters, and owners of Benson.

Dan and Zoe Holmes

Dan and Zoe Holmes

Directors

The husband and wife Holmes team provide yet more back up to the Business Parks. Again, their expertise and experience in a range of dynamic areas means they make no small contribution to the Craggs family of businesses.

Dan’s background in technology and digital marketing has proven a powerful platform for business development. This is incredibly well complimented by his consultations on the construction and optimisation of our new premises as we shape them into modern business hubs.

It’s through Holmestec Ltd that Dan provides his services as Managing Director to Craggs businesses and these days his focus, when it comes to The Craggs Business Parks is the advanced infrastructructure. His technical team are on hand to get the most of the on-site dedicated to broadband to our initial Cragg Vale site. Investing in this digital lifeline has been the basis for expanding our offerings to include SIP phone systems and local wireless broadband under Dan’s supervision.

Balancing this out is Zoe, a key influence in shaping the distinctive feel of The Craggs’ sites. Using her creativity and interior design consultancy that operates within Holmestec, Zoe has been key to developing the look and feel of The Craggs. By enforcing a modern, yet still soft aesthetic Zoe has helped craft a series of spaces that suit our tenants down to the ground. Never underestimate the impact your environment can have on your work ethic. This is certainly no afterthought at the The Craggs.

When away from The Craggs Zoe and Dan spend their time touring the country with their two daughters, Georgina and Matilda who both successfully compete with their horses at a national level.
