Before coming to the Craggs, End 2 End were based in Ripponden.

As the business grew, the open-plan setup that had worked fine for a small team started to create problems – no separate space for client meetings, no privacy for online software demonstrations.

The search for somewhere better took them across West Yorkshire. What they found, consistently, was compromise: wrong location, poor connectivity, or a three-year lease that felt like a gamble on where the business would be in 36 months’ time.

“I looked at lots of offices across West Yorkshire, but every one involved some sort of compromise – the location, the facilities, poor internet, or being tied into a three-year lease.

The Craggs ticked all the boxes.”

The working day starts just before 8am…

A team meeting, then online calls with customers and colleagues based elsewhere. At lunch, it’s usually the farm shop, sometimes followed by a walk in the surrounding countryside before the afternoon’s work begins.

The internet connectivity that defeated so many alternatives is no longer a thought. The 24/7 access means the business runs on its own schedule. And the flexible 12-month agreements – all inclusive – removed the financial uncertainty that came with longer leases.

“Everything just works. If we ever do have a problem, Susie and the team sort it out straight away.”

The move has made a tangible difference to how the team works.

Peaceful surroundings and excellent connectivity keep productivity up. The environment itself – the quality of light, the outlook, the absence of city centre noise – has created a stronger sense of wellbeing across the team.

For the business owner, the connection to the site has become something personal. Weekend walks up to the café with a Labrador in tow, without even going into the office, are now a regular occurrence.

“The Craggs might seem more expensive on a per-square-metre basis than some alternatives, but it’s worth every penny as although End 2 End are only a small team based in the Yorkshire countryside, our timber window management software is used by companies across the UK and beyond.”

I love our office so much I sometimes joke that I’d happily live here!
