Frequently asked questions
If the gates are ever closed, your PIN or fob will work to open them between the opening hours (7am – 9pm).
No, our units do not have electric sockets.
Our prices are shown weekly on the website, to work out the monthly price, you simply: multiply the weekly price by 52 and then divide by 12 to show it monthly.
The self-storage is secure and easy access via pin code.
When you set up your self-storage account you would have been issued your PIN number via email.
You can also see your PIN number by logging into your self-storage account (CLICK HERE) where you will be able to access it. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it (please check your junk email folder).

Our self-storage units have 24 hour dehumidified atmosphere to prevent moisture. We use a desiccant dehumidifier that is designed to work to keep the air at a level climate.
We don’t recommend for valuable paintings to be stored.

We understand that plans change, if you need to cancel a booking please contact the Manager’s office two days prior.
If notice is not given there will be a 50% cancellation fee.
We have meeting rooms with capacities from 3-50 people.

Viewings can be arranged during normal working hours. We can be flexible and arrange out of office viewings in the evenings or weekends.

Business rates are payable to Calderdale MBC on all of our properties. Depending on the circumstances you may be eligible for a rates discount. Please see the Calderdale MBC website to check if this is applicable to your business.
We operate a one month notice policy.
To cancel your self-storage you can do this in multiple ways:
Food and perishables, plants, birds, fish, animals, any other living creatures, combustible or flammable materials, compressed gas (including liquids such as gas, paint, petrol, oil or cleaning solvents), firearms, weapons, ammunition, explosives (including components), chemical, radioactive materials, biological agents and toxic waste. Any item that omits odour, fumes or smells. Any items of high value regarding specialist storage.
Any illegal substances, illegal items or goods illegally obtained, including counterfeit goods, illicit (smuggled or counterfeit) tobacco, illicit alcohol, unlicensed medicines and unsafe goods.
Items with an engine, i.e. petrol lawnmower or motorbike.

Registering (and booking) your self-storage is quick and easy.
All you need to bring is click on the size of the self-storage unit you are interested in on our website – if there is one available – it’s all yours!
If we are fully booked our website will add you to our waiting list and as soon as the size becomes free you will be emailed – keep your eye out!
All the payment is done online, safe and secure on the payment system we use.
When you select your self-storage size on our website, it will ask you to create an account with us and request your credit/debit card details.
ID verification is required and your monthly payment will be taken on your move in date each month.
You can also pay by standing order, please do just let us know and our bank details will be provided upon request.
You should already be insured on your household insurance, however please check with your insurance provider as everyones policy is different.
The Craggs Personal Storage are not be liable for uninsured stored goods.
You can store your items for a minimum of one month.
Once you sign up with your storage, there are no limits as to how long you stay and you can cancel at any time.
We have a one months notice period that you can action at any time by logging into your account.
Reserve your self-storage by using our website. You can reserve a unit 7 days in advance.
You can book and reserve your storage-space online it is a first come first served basis so please do book your unit if it is available, and check your emails daily for availability info.
All our business parks and offices are gated and secure, and are accessible 24 hours a day with secure access.

Yes, we have some padlocks on site to buy for £14 – if you let us know we can arrange one for you to be left inside your new empty self-storage unit, or you can pop into the Managers Office on site (check our opening hours at the bottom of the web page).
All units are on ground level, with easy access doors adjacent to the car park, trollies are also available to borrow and as we are on one level there are no stairs or levels to navigate.
