Well, it’s now April and so much has happened over the last few months. We certainly tempted fate in our last blog by commenting on the lack of snow! After a few beautiful days at the beginning of March when we thought spring has sprung, the Yorkshire weather we know and love came back with a vengeance! The snow was so deep that we had to dig cars out and some of the staff had to be collected by the Land Rover! Luckily the snow ploughing team from Craggs Energy were on hand to ensure we all got in and out freely and all the deliveries to the site could be made!
The peculiarities of the weather haven’t stopped new tenants moving in. The doors to Swim Stars new pool are now open. Plenty of hard work went into preparing the unit and creating the pool – it looks fabulous and at the end of a hard day has us all longing for a relaxing swim. The open day was a great success and lots of lucky, excited children are now coming up daily for lessons. What a wonderful place to learn to swim – have fun! www.ukswimstars.com
Greenwood Organics are also here now producing a wonderful range of beauty products – and the smells are delicious! If you would like to know more about how these beautiful products can enhance your natural beauty, take a look at www.greenwoodorganics.co.uk
With spring in the air, our thoughts are turning to other things … the open day for the Cragg Country Business parks will be on May 5th. Hebden Royd’s Mayor Scott Trickett will be coming along to open the park along with MP Craig Whittaker. The winning tickets will also be drawn for the fabulous prizes in the Mayor’s Charity raffle. Craggs Energy have donated an Ipad3 – why not buy a ticket and pop up to see if you’ve won and have a look around to see all the amazing changes that have been happening here over the last few months? All the tenants will be here and it promises to be a great afternoon – hope to see you all there!
